Marijuana aerosol sounds like a great idea, especially, for those not worried by the
so-called ill effects of getting ripped.
If I had a nickel for everytime I have heard people complain about the
digital divide in my classes, I probably have
$15.85
"Urban Display Network" ????
I am sure many questions linger about the LED screen advertisement of Clear Channel,
funny that in search for more information about UDN, I landed up here, at a
ITP course website
Uh-Oh, what is this
Information on the KABLOG photo/moblogging software for mobile phones
...And Josh,
for your "computer science aiding mankind with efforts toward total encompassment of goodness, rather then the artist as selfish artifice"
Human Computer Interaction Lab at University of Maryland
It might look lame, but what beautiful thing doesn't these days!!??
Thomas, for your typography needs:

And do check out his
page at the Medialab as it has its own share of neat projects that still dabble in artiness.
Just came across this place,
Brain Typing Institute while reading about how the Celtics President of Basketball Operations, Danny Ainge, make decisions on personnel. This is some amazing material! I love the new age business model they're running, Brain Types, people really trust them - probably because they claim to be hard science!!
....Our efforts have convinced us that Jung, including his modern-day devotees, was (and are) on the right trackthough we believe they are far removed from the accuracy and scientific understanding now available for evaluating human behavior (cognitive, physical, and spatial)...
I can entertain myself for hours at the above site, just refreshing and refreshing and gulping in the emerging streams of poetry. It is equally fun to do this on the
LimeWire Client, but one has to admit that there is a lot more porn on Lime Wire searches then there is on
Metacrawler
A coupla notes, now that I seen that we are looking at this thing again.
First of all... AudBlog. Let's get on that train, right away -- nick wasn't that always one of your composer-style dreams? The processed re:process audio,
the idea of passing a file on and on and on and marking its reformation and continutation in time, as a sound file in sound?
Other then that. How about this weather? Love it or leave it. Sadly, I am going to Mexico this saturday, and will be leaving the cold breath for 7 whole days.
However Mexico should be a treat, I never - of course - have been there before.
Second of all: Does anyone (nick or josh) know of any music type making entity, that is working in that 5.1 Doldy Surround jive, or whatever that is on DVD's. I have a DVD player with the five speaker set up, and sounds neat, makes me feel like a Best Buy shopper.... when can I get a CD taylor-made for the DVD surround business... what do I have to do?..wait for Radiohead to do this or something? can I get it now? Somebody talk about this?
Lastly: I have a mission for the blog.
Let's see some requests fulfilled, i mean, in the spirit of the season - 'tis the season for giving and what... wouldn't it be neat to see some wish list be met, or delivered, or filled out... so here goes my wish list (anyone wanting to help fulfill it please do so in any favorable/optionable/personable way...)
1) Pick-up truck
2) Who invented the sun-dial?
3) Statistics on America's dental habits compared to other nations
4) Nocturnal
5) How much do crane's and other construction vehicles cost?
7) Mother-of-pearl
ok, let's get back to work!!!!
PS. scott, I saw that Frank Sinatra special too.
I remember Scott asking for color at some point...
Just some re-tooling for its own sake. Trying my damnedest to understand this CSS layout...
Wow, I can't believe anybody visits this site anymore...
