Very nice stereo echo reverb sound on Coltrane's
A Love Supreme in the right channel on Part 3 'Pursuance' into (my favorite) Part 4 'Psalm.' You can hear the reverb-y ring of the saxophone in the distance, almost as if you were in the next room and the saxophone came through muffled. It is also amazing because it brings out different passages of notes strings which are not heard when listening to both tracks. The microphone pick up in the right channel is not directly on the sax part. So 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 becomes 3-44-5-7, and while this might not be the way the sound was intended to be heard, and you are in fact losing sound. It is an very nice experience because it allows you to hear aspects of room and the performance in a more focused way. It gives Coltrane's musical expression almost ghost like presence in the side of your time-head. I recommend it. Also because
A Love Supreme should probably be listened to in so many, unending ways.
